Project Bono
www.projectbono.comEnhancing the way that legal systems and communities interrelate by connecting people with resources that contribute to a safe, sustainable, and aware society. By definition, Project Bono means "an individual or collaborative enterprise that is carefully aimed to benefit society". To realize this undertaking, we are currently providing courts, schools, and employers with an exceptional correctional education program that is assigned to first and repeat offenders in order to illuminate the risks associated with harmful substances and behaviors at all ages. Project Bono allocates 25% of enrollment proceeds to be donated towards 501(c)(3) non-profits across multiple charitable causes and reinvests back into the communities that assign our programs. This can come in the form of contributions to schools, recovery programs, shelters from domestic violence, and any other ways that we can enrich and serve communities. The awareness and adoption of our court-ordered courses is critical in order to effectuate our early growth and expand our reach so that we can have a greater impact on communities. During this initial phase, Project Bono will have the following influence: -Provide a comprehensive education to offenders on the harmful risks of substance abuse and behaviors. -Save valuable time and resources within the courts due to Project Bono's comprehensive platform and handouts that make our courses easy to assign without confusion. -Benefit all members of the community by allotting our charitable contributions and offsetting the costs of community services that are otherwise incurred by taxpayers in order to significantly alleviate the tax burden within communities. Essentially averting finances from illegal activities into philanthropical efforts. -Break or prevent incarceration cycles by inspiring alternative appeals that can provide a second chance to those facing non-violent charges whose sentencing may otherwise come at the expense of taxpayers.
