Founded in 2016, Capital Gondola, LLC, is a partnership comprised of more than a dozen representatives from leading New York, national and international organizations, including: Doppelmayr USA, McLaren Engineering Group, Harrison & Burrowes Bridge Constructors, O’Connell Electric, Moretrench and TJM Advisors. The company's mission is to develop and deliver the Capital District Gondola, an urban aerial ropeway system ("gondola") to connect the cities and counties of Albany & Rensselaer, New York and provide a safe, reliable transportation mode that will provide economic benefits to New York's Capital Region.
