www.amcham.maThe American Chamber of Commerce in Morocco (AmCham Morocco) is a non-profit, non-government organization that represents American and Moroccan businesses and individuals. The chamber’s mission is to provide support to businesses, Moroccan and American, in expanding their opportunities in each market through advocacy, information, networking, and business support services. AmCham Morocco was established in 1966 by a group of Moroccan and American businesses under the auspices of the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. AmCham membership totals 220 members, of which 55% are Moroccan, 40% American, and 5% other nationalities. Members support AmCham operations through annual dues. The Chamber receives no governmental, outside financial support, or subsidies. The Chamber is governed by an elected Board, comprised of the presidents of leading U.S. companies established in Morocco and of Moroccan companies doing business with the U.S. The Chamber's annual workload is accomplished through five standing committees with different focuses: Trade and Investment, Corporate Social Responsibility, Business Concerns, Invest in the USA, and Events. The Chamber receives no governmental, outside financial support, or subsidies. The Chamber is governed by an elected Board, comprised of the presidents of leading U.S. companies established in Morocco and of Moroccan companies doing business with the U.S.
