Owned by the Bowling Green State University, WBGU-PBS maintains studios at the Tucker Center for Telecommunications on the BGSU campus. Unlike its sister radio station WBGU (88.1 FM), WBGU-PBS is not primarily operated by students at the university; although the station does offer many different student positions that allow students to gain experience. WBGU-PBS broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 22 (or virtual channel 27 via PSIP) from a transmitter near Belmore, Ohio.
