Using evidence-based practices within an adventure therapy program design, Wendigo Lake operates licensed and accredited residential programs for male youth-at-risk ages 13-18 (Project D.A.R.E. and REACH). Key features of our residential programs include frequent wilderness expeditions, an on-site school program for high school credit recovery, and individual, family, and group counseling by Master level therapists, all integrated into an intensive, individualized therapeutic program. Wendigo Lake also designs and delivers a broad range of experiential education and adventure-based programs customized to the needs of schools, colleges, universities, children's services, and professionals engaged in working with youth. Wendigo Lake is licensed by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and accredited by the Association for Experiential Education.
