BE ART is an experimental creative/art project curated by Silvia Russo. "Art at home" is the tagline of the collective, born in a private flat in the historic centre of Messina, in December ‘17, transformed for the occasion into an artistic hub. BE ART aims to place the user in an immersive experience, placing the works and the different artistic exhibitions within the most intimate spaces of everyday life, in which performative events come to life, making the experience participatory and shared. This theatricalisation of private space, transformed from an ordinary place into a place of sharing and artistic expression, seeks to underline on the one hand the collective nature of the project, which triggers connections between artists and performers working in different fields, and on the other hand the lack of free expression spaces for young local artists, who, in a provocative way, want to demonstrate that through imagination and creativity, it is possible to carve out a space anywhere to express their own nature and artistic impulses. BE ART is an ever-evolving dynamic project capable of modifying and adapting itself, with a chameleon-like spirit, to any container, focusing on emerging artists born in this contemporary society in perpetual evolution, and expanding with a perspective of sharing and comparison that sees art, linked to every form and culture, as a real and conscious possibility for a desirable social renewal, which aims to create empathic connections between art and people.
