Ridge View Residential College (RVRC) is a residential and curricular college of the National University of Singapore that is located in the Heart of NUS. It grants certificates for the completion of the RVRC Programme, which involves 3 academic modules and compulsory co-academic activities in the first year, and experiential forums in the second year. The academic programme only forms a part of the education at RVRC. We are committed to building an outdoor education programme based on experiential learning, with a strong focus on environmental stewardship. At RVRC, students can champion local conservation initiatives or join sustainable overseas expeditions to other countries, such as China and Indonesia. Through these experiences, they do not only understand and tackle sustainability issues but also continue their journeys of self-discovery. The key part of the college experience happens in the residential life. Students interact, work and form friendships with peers from diverse backgrounds. They have opportunities to pursue interests beyond the classroom by participating in interest groups or leading initiatives. Beyond academic and personal development, students can look forward to professional development as well via close engagements with the industry. Industry visits aside, students can look forward to dialogues with industry leaders, including the College Rector, Professor Liew Mun Leong, to gain insider insights and prepare for the demands of their future workplace.
