Anthony Paine Limited
www.anthonypaine.comAnthony Paine’s elegant buildings, interiors and gardens appeal to clients at the very top of the market who are looking for dynamic planning, wit and fine detailing. His work ranges from initial ideas generation and sketch designs through to classical gazebos and extensions, right up to the design of complete new build environments – houses and gardens. Major projects over a long career have included 130 shops all over the world for Gieves & Hawkes, a new Kasbah in Morocco, a classical villa in Bavaria, a traditional Chalet in Switzerland - and 3 Beehives for Highgrove. Anthony has always preferred to keep his practice small and work personally for all his clients whatever the size of project, producing all the designs and illustrations himself. Everything he does is driven by his passion for classical and traditional design. In recent years, he has started to work mainly on smaller projects nearer his home in Bath, enjoys working on old, interesting listed buildings, helping new owners of such buildings realise their potential and extend or remodel their house to suit the way they wish to live. Anthony was the winner of the B&NES Design Quality Awards 2019, in the category Works to a Listed Building. The judges commented "A compact but stately addition to this charming Regency villa, and a pleasing rearrangement of rooms to suit present day lifestyles."
