Founded in 2020 and based in Singapore, WasteLess is dedicated to the promotion of sustainable waste habits, working towards Singapore's goal of a Zero Waste Nation. We are developing a smart waste management system which leverages data analytics, data visualization, and Internet-of-Things technology to promote sustainable waste habits by empowering every Singaporean to take charge of their personal wastage. The WasteLess waste management system comprises of an IoT enabled smart garbage chute that can record and track user's waste generation data, and an app for users to monitor their waste generation in real-time. WasteLess’ pilot program commenced in Q1 2021 at Tembusu Residential College, National University of Singapore with the support of the South West Community Development Council and has successfully been completed in June 2021. The project was featured as part of NUS's best green campus international award (LINK).
