Sharefest delivers hope to 300+ under-resourced and disconnected students every year. Our primary work takes place inside 5 LAUSD Continuation High Schools from Wilmington to Watts where students meet caring adults from the Sharefest team. Students participate in college and career courses that accelerate earning the credits they desperately need to graduate. As part of our wraparound programming, Sharefest also provides mentorship and access to trauma-informed mental and behavioral health services. Sharefest pours more resources into each individual student than schools and other organizations are able to. Following a student from high school into post-secondary pathways is simply the most effective way for youth to truly mobilize from poverty.
