An initiative by the GirlUp foundation which was created in 2010 by the UN foundation as an initiative to help UN agencies to help and support girls. Us, at GirlUp Aashayein are a part of the Delhi Chapter of the foundation who work as change makers, living in Delhi NCR, aiming to change the mindsets of people towards a positive outlook. We are here to enlighten people with knowledge and bring about a change in the conservative mindsets of many individuals which still remain today. OUR AIM: Our aim here at GirlUp Aashayein is to spread awareness about mainly gender related issues and create a positive mindset for people by providing adequate resources and a platform to start a movement, to make everyone understand the gender based inequality females go through. We also aim to talk about other social issues and problems, and hence, are here to make a change. OUR VISION: Our vision is to bring about a change in the society and to open the eyes of many people for them to see the injustices being faced by many people in this world. We are here to create a place where no voice would be unheard, or disrespected.
