The World Land Trust (WLT) is an international conservation organisation that takes direct action to save rainforest and other wildlife habitats by providing funds for partner organisations to purchase land and establish permanent wildlife reserves. In addition to land purchase and protection, WLT meets the challenge of climate change through Carbon Balanced; projects that both offset carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and conserve biodiversity. Individual and corporate supporters can help by 'buying' acres, offsetting carbon dioxide emission or making regular contributions to the Trust's conservation projects.
