GNCTR Guelph is a student engineering team from the University of Guelph. The team competes in an annual competition known as the Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race (GNCTR) originating in 1974. Technical skills include concrete design, welding, SolidWorks design and simulation, and construction safety among others. Soft skills that are developed include report writing, teamwork, organization and time management, professional communication, problem solving, and working with tight deadlines. GNCTR Guelph is always looking for new opportunities to partner with companies and individuals in related industries.
