Rainbow Red offers professional organising, decluttering and project management services to help people in need of practical, person-centred advice, support, coaching and training. Using proven motivational interviewing, change and project management techniques, we work closely with individuals, families and their supporters (which can include faith groups, social services or social care teams; the Fire & Rescue Service; Environmental Health Officers; Solicitors; landlords; housing associations; mental health teams; people with Lasting Power of Attorney, etc) so that together we create and implement holistic, practical, achievable and sustainable Action Plans that will improve their safety and well-being and the functionality of their homes. By being mindful and actively listening, we can facilitate the client’s decision-making about what to keep and what’s surplus to requirement. And because we have a Waste Carrier Licence we can arrange for unwanted items to be removed and donated or disposed of in environmentally friendly ways, according to the client’s wishes. Rainbow Red is proud to be training, coaching and mentoring the next generation of Professional Hoarding Practitioners, and campaigning to raise awareness of neuro-diversity and the safety, health and well being problems relating to clutter, disorganisation and hoarding behaviours. By increasing support for people affected by them we aim to reduce the impact of stigmas and actions (such as eviction) that can lead to deteriorating mental and physical health, more clutter and disorganisation issues, and being at risk of abuse.
