Founded in 1993 by Mike Farthing and Matthew Flint, Academy Sports Limited has built up a reputation for professional excellence in the provision of high quality sports surfaces of all kinds. Despite the resulting expansion of the business to a present annual turnover of between £1.0 and £1.5 million, Mike and Matthew continue personally to oversee each and every project, from the initial appraisal and quotation until handover of the completed facility.

This personal service and attention to quality means that a significant proportion of the company’s business results from personal recommendation by former clients, many of whom have supplied letters of reference and/or are happy for prospective customers to view the work previously done for them. These clients range from private purchasers of domestic tennis courts to schools and local authorities, for whom Academy Sports Limited has designed and installed large multi-use surfaces and ancillary facilities.
