We are a non-profit organization run by volunteers who can help and teach others to reuse, repair and restore existing items instead of throwing them out. We are hosting repair workshops every 3rd Thursday of the month in Kolding. Our goal: to have a positive impact on the world - environmentally and socially. We are a part of a big social circular economy movement called Repair Cafe Denmark. The purpose of Repair Cafe Denmark is to reduce waste, change consumption patterns and create knowledge and desire for green conversion. We do this, among other things at local non-profit repair cafes, by showing consumers that it is possible to repair things, rather than just discarding and buying new. Repair Cafe Denmark, in practice, affects the consumers' thinking about the circular economy.
