Housatonic Industrial Development Corporation’s (HIDC) mission is to help Connecticut’s small businesses grow, create or retain jobs and achieve economic development goals within the state. Since 1969 HIDC has been a leading resource to Connecticut’s small businesses through the creation and administration of long-term fixed-rate financing. Our loan program helps small businesses acquire, build, expand owner occupied real estate and other fixed assets. By working with banks, other first mortgage lenders, and using the SBA 504 loan program, HIDC provides long-term financing at competitive rates.
