The University of Queensland Centre for Natural Gas is a world-class research centre focused on optimising the natural gas industry. The Centre provides independent, evidence-based advice to industry, government and communities about natural gas. The Centre is a port of call for advice on policy and business-relevant matters, leadership on scientific and technical and strategic planning. Its research portfolio focus areas include: • Geoscience. • Petroleum engineering. • Water. • Social performance. The UQ Centre for Natural Gas manages a broad range of projects which are underpinned by vital funding from a range of sources. This includes government grants and research funding from a range of member organisations who are committed to backing strategic research into capabilities and technologies to support efficient operations of the natural gas industry. Current member organisations are Arrow Energy, Santos and APLNG as well as The University of Queensland.
