Carlisle Key is a local charity that helps vulnerable 16 to 25 year olds to gain the confidence, support and resources they need to avoid the risk, or resolve the reality, of homelessness. Through our drop-in centre, support worker and team of committed volunteers we deliver practical and personalised services including advice and information, crisis support, and guided pathways to partner agencies. Our short term priority is always to alleviate the distress and hardship caused by problems with housing, finances, homelessness and personal welfare; longer term our goal is to empower Carlisle’s young people to unlock a happy, secure and independent future, and to take an active and positive role in the community.
