Welcome at Thuis in Amsterdam! We started Thuis in Amsterdam in the Sumner of 2020 because we noticed that there is a need for a language school that focuses on practice and integration into Dutch society. The international character of Amsterdam attracts people from all over the world. Learning Dutch however is not always one of the main priorities. It is difficult to break this pattern if you speak another language at work and most of your contacts are internationals. As a result, there's no chance for real integration, which makes you feel less at home. We want to help break this pattern in order to smoothen your integration process in Amsterdam! We do so by offering Dutch private lessons, group lessons and incompany classes. The distinctive character of our lessons lies in the focus on practice and integration into the Dutch society. The language is a means to find your way here, to get to know Dutch people and most importantly: to feel at home!
