Survivors & Mates Support Network
www.samsn.org.auWelcome to SAMSN. Any man who has experienced the effects of child sexual abuse should know it was not his fault and that healing and recovery is possible. Regardless of his ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, or religion, any man can contact SAMSN for support. SAMSN is a not-for-profit that employs qualified staff who have experience working with male survivors to provide on-going support services through Planned Support, and facilitate support groups and workshops for men, their families, and supporters. SAMSN also offers peer-support to give survivors the opportunity to talk with another survivor who also has direct experience of our services. All services provided by SAMSN have been developed through collaboration between survivors & professionals and are delivered within a trauma-informed framework. SAMSN works to break down the stigma and myths associated with childhood sexual abuse by raising public awareness, up-skilling frontline service providers and advocating for the implementation of the Royal Commission into institutional responses to child sexual abuse recommendations.
