Therapy Center of Philadelphia (formerly Women's Therapy Center) nurtures individual well-being and personal growth by providing high-quality, affordable psychotherapeutic services in a feminist environment. We create this feminist environment through supporting client empowerment, collaboration, a de-emphasis on diagnosis, and on the recognition that the way in which we experience oppression is influenced and shaped by our concurrent identities. TCP also welcomes anyone who identifies as transgender or gender non-conforming, regardless of sex assigned at birth or gender identity. This could include but not be limited to trans women, trans men, gender non-conforming and gender-queer identified folks, as well as transsexuals or anyone on the transgender continuum. Therapy Center of Philadelphia exists so that all women and transgender communities can have access to high-quality affordable psychotherapy. It offers flexible hours from 9am to 9pm, Monday through Saturday and all services are offered on a sliding fee scale based on income and number of dependents.
