At Catalyst, we believe that greatness is grown and not born, which is why all of our courses are project-based. Our courses span electronic music production and performance, music production and sound engineering, film production, visual effects, and acting. In 2020 we changed our name from dBs Berlin to Catalyst – Institute for Creative Arts and Technology, to bring together our three main schools in Berlin. Catalyst Music, Catalyst Film and Catalyst Acting, share our state-of-the-art facilities with 30+ production studios and suites, a film studio, multiple IT worksuites, and several tons of tech production toys. Our progressive educational model is based on practice-based learning, empowering students with real life experience and collaborations from day one.
