Opuha Water Ltd has been an integral part of the South Canterbury Community since the dam was officially opened in November 1998. We are a co-operative company that enables sustainable prosperity through prudent custodianship of water. The flow on effects of our business have enabled significant social, economic and environmental benefits for the local community. We manage the infrastructure assets and resource consents associated with the Opuha Dam and irrigation schemes. Whilst managing this asset portfolio we work extremely hard to ensure the fresh water we interact with, is managed in a manner such that the resource has a sustainable future.
