NHS Morecambe Bay Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is run by local GPs. It aims to commission (buy) high quality, safe, and effective health services that meet the needs of residents in the Morecambe Bay area. The CCG is responsible for commissioning: • most planned hospital care • rehabilitative care • urgent and emergency care (including out-of-hours) • most community health services • mental health and learning disability services
