SA Bierfest is South Africa's biggest annual nationally touring beer and lifestyle festival event. Modelled on the historic Munich Oktoberfest event, Bierfest was launched in 2011 and has seen year-on-year growth since then. It currently attracts over 50 000 South African bier lovers and hosts of visiting foreigners through it's brauhaus doors each year at its venue in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. In 2016, Bierfest expanded its range to include the cities of Port Elizabeth and Pretoria. The event is privately produced in proud association with headline sponsors TOPS at SPAR.
