The Center for Local Development - CELOR is national, non-profit, independent, non-governmental organization established by a group of citizens – environmental engineers whose main idea is to provide support and services to the society, to give contribution to the economical development, social well-being and environmental protection, operating on local, national, and international level. The Center for Local Development is provides help to the citizens and citizen associations, Local Communities, Local Self Governments and business sector in finding acceptable alternatives and solutions for their problems, preparing projects, plans, programmes and activities for improvement of living conditions and building sustainable communities. Mission The Center for Local Development – CELOR is aimed towards capacity building and development of the local communities as well as accomplishing significant social, economical and environmental goals within the concept for sustainable development. We are aiming towards implementing our mission through:  Public participation;  Supporting, lobbying and representing;  Promotion, support and realization of the initiatives for development of the Local communities;  Strengthening the capacities and improving the cooperation between citizens, NGOs, local governments, business sector. Strategic Goals  Capacity building of the civic organizations, Local Governments and business sector in accordance with the principles of the sustainable development;  Strengthening the cooperation amongst all stakeholders on local and national level;  Representing and lobbying in relation to civic society and local development issues;  Capacity building of the local communities towards promoting alternative solutions for solving their problems;
