EpiCARE is the European Reference Network for Rare and Complex Epilepsies. EpiCARE is a network of 28 health centres in 13 European countries with specialist expertise in epilepsy and research. The network is coordinated by the @Hospices Civils de Lyon, and led by Pr. Arzimanoglou and Pr. Cross. EpiCARE aims to improve accessibility of detailed diagnostics, develop treatment protocols and improve awareness and accessibility to treatment protocols to patients of all ages with rare and complex epilepsies in Europe. Furthermore, through collaboration EpiCARE aims to enhance educational and training activities, create opportunities for registries and collaborative research.
