Hopewell House for Independent Living provides long and short term residential treatment of mental illnesses within a therapeutic community setting. Our overall philosophy supports and encourages an individual's independence by listening to his or her wishes and needs, supporting his or her strengths and interests and developing a service plan based on the resident's, and family's input. Personal dignity, fulfillment and happiness are the core goals we strive to achieve with our residents. The personalized residential, recreational and vocational training program goals offered at Hopewell House, coupled with integration activities in the local community, are intended to empower adults with chronic mental health conditions toward their personal goals.
