bethenycreative was established in 2014 and is simply me, Betheny Hawkins, being creative. I have been designing for over 20 years and freelancing for over 15 years. My resume says i am an "Experienced graphic & user interface designer with the talent to create and convey consistent company branding with a focus on website and email communication design. (Who) Creatively executes user-centered design that features information accessibility, usability, customer engagement, current trends, and best practices." blah, blah, blah. There are only 2 things you really need to know about me. First, I think life is about making connections. Collaborating, working, laughing, playing, they're important parts of who we are. I enjoy my job because I'm usually doing one or all of those things to get a project done. Secondly, I love problem solving and I love a challenge. Tell me I cannot do something and I will make it happen! According to the book, The Secret Language of Birthdays, my birthday is the "Day of Improved Comfort." So, I guess my desire to make things better is an innate quality. Bring me your design challenges and I will find a solution that makes you happy.
