Headwaters Health Care Centre is a medium-sized 73-bed acute and complex continuing care hospital, offering both inpatient and outpatient services, as well as an Emergency Department with 24/7 coverage. The new Eva Heiny Ambulatory Care Wing is home to high-demand clinics, services and programs such as dialysis, chemotherapy, minor procedures, orthopaedics and plastic surgery. Provincial Partnerships such as the Ontario Breast Screening Program and the Mississauga Halton Regional Cancer Program offer expanded outpatient services to residents, close to home. Headwaters also enjoys a unique service agreement with Dufferin County Paramedic Services, who have been serving this region for over 50 years.
