AM Group started as a labor contractor undertaking maintenance jobs for Industrial units of Godrej. Thereafter a civil construction contracting company was started which undertook turnkey projects. Ahura Mazda Manufacturing Co. Pvt. Ltd was incorporated in 1998 and started production in 1999 – 2000 manufacturing steel cupboards for M/s Godrej & Boyce. New clients with different product lines like electrical panels & paint mixing machines were added soon thereafter. In 2006 a new company Ahura Mazda Metal & Forming was set-up in Guwahati, Assam to manufacture the storwell & wardrobe range of steel cupboards as a dedicated OEM manufacturer for Godrej. This unit supplies to the Godrej branches located in Northern, Eastern & North-Eastern parts of India. Recently the group has entered into two Joint Ventures with International partners, B&D Australia & Western Forms U.S.A. to manufacture Roll-A-Doors & aluminium formwork for the construction industry respectively. The Group has also undertaken two slum development projects in the city of Mumbai.
