CSCGW - What initially began in early 2012 as a grassroots advocacy group, centrally located in what is now Hasidic Williamsburg, is on the north border of Bedford Stuyvesant bordering South of Williamsburg. It has flourished into a full fledged community service center offering assistance, navigation and advocacy to low income families, the elderly and disabled with matters related to public benefits and entitlements. Located in the heart of South Williamsburg, CSCGW serves as the “local voice” for those who are economically and/or socially challenged and at risk of losing out in the benefits of basic entitlements such as Medicaid, Medicare and Food Stamps. CSCGW aims to mend the gaps for all needy community members and to make often complicated systems both accessible and manageable. .
