At Slide Ridge, we bottle summer sunshine, collected by beautiful, high-mountain wildflowers and gathered by carefully tended bees from sustainable, low-impact hives. Sunshine, in the form of pure, raw, unfiltered rocky-mountain wildflower honey forms the base of all our products. A taste of sunshine to brighten any day! From this elite-quality honey, we produce a CaCysir wine made from a delicious blend of Northern Utah apples, mixed with our raw wildflower honey. From our CaCysir wine we produce our unique honey wine vinegar that is a treat to the palette and the body. With a long tradition of beekeeping, the foundation of the Slide Ridge products and success is healthy and productive bees. At Slide Ridge, we practice sustainable, low-impact, and all-natural beekeeping methods, without the use of damaging chemicals or other poisons. We raise our own queens and use only all-natural plant-based nutrients, pro-biotics and essential oils, to keep our bees healthy and our hives strong. We may not know all the bees by name, but we know most of them! Our success is seen in the activity of our hives. Strong hives and active bees not only produce good honey but they add strength and beauty to the mountain flowers that sustain them. Our honey is collected each year from our mountain “beeyards” and extracted at our family farm headquarters. Slide Ridge is a multi-generation Family operation with family members heavily involved in all phases of the operation, from the bees to the bottles.
