Praxis Education Trust was founded on 13th May, 2019. The fundamental purpose behind the idea of Praxis is breaking the shackles of the current education system of India. We work in the domain of Access to Education, Public Welfare through counter-specific programmes, Skill Training, Legal Awareness, Sensitization (Gender, Health, Menstrual Health and Hygiene, Mental Health). Our aim is to empower the youth, students and individuals studying in schools and colleges to become critical stakeholders in the change-making, democratic and development process of India. We provide skill training in the following fields: -Public Speaking - Legal Awareness -Model United Nations -Filing of Right To Information -Interpersonal Communication -Soft Skills -Presentation skills -Preparation for Interviews -Research and writing – Articles, Research Papers, Journals, Case Comment etc. We believe that access to these skills should not only be limited to the privileged classes of society. It is our aim to bridge the gap between government and private schools by giving the same platform and opportunities to the students. At a time when these skills are taught by professionals at hefty prices, we provide these services free of cost in NGO run and Government schools where students cannot afford access to the same. We are a volunteer run Non-Profit Organisation and we engage with youth volunteers on counter-specific projects keeping in mind the skill-set required to carry out the said programme/initiative.
