New episodes every Thursday 9 AM ET / 6 AM PT Homeroom was created by Cassius Felicella and spurred out of a problem he was experiencing himself. During graduate school, guest speakers would frequent the university to talk about their experiences and how they arrived at where they are today. What became noticeable quite quickly is how little attention was placed on entrepreneurship, technology, and starutps. The solution was clear: create a platform where students can learn about this industry and break into it with ease. Since the programs inception, Homeroom has hosted dozens of Y Combinator alumni, and several venture capitalists from firms such as Khosla Ventures and Greylock. The goal is to create a platform where such individuals can tell their story, talk about who inspired them, and advice they have for students looking to embark on the same journey.
