Founded in 2008 by Nicola Russi and Angelica Sylos Labini, Laboratorio Permanente is based in Milan and and has been commissioned projects in Italy and many foreign countries. The office approaches projects at different scales, from architecture to urban and interior design. Each project derives from a sensitive observation of context and its multiple aspects: the natural environment, the physical culture of the place together with its rules, the identity of local community and even the personal history of individuals.
