Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India has established MHRD’s 'Institution's Innovation Cell (IIC)’ on 21st November 2018 to systematically foster the culture of Innovation amongst all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). IIC-RCPIT will focus on creating a complete ecosystem which will foster the culture of Innovation from ideas generation to pre-incubation, incubation and graduating from the incubator as successful start-ups. IIC will also work on designing ranking system to identify institutions at the forefront of innovation IIC-RCPIT is currently under the leadership of Prof. Dr. S. A. More, Coordinators, & A Panel of students who work closely with the activities of IIC ensuring creative energy of our student population to work on new ideas and innovation and promote them to create start-ups and entrepreneurial ventures.
