Careers in Colour aims to support and empower people of colour to thrive in their careers, providing a community for open discussion and visible and diverse role models. Our philosophy is rooted in transformative equity and particularly focuses on underrepresented and marginalised communities with intersecting identities. We aim to do this by providing opportunities for leadership, community and connectivity, while mobilising advocates around issues that affect people of colour in the workplace and push for structural change. We acknowledge that we live and work on stolen land, and also wish to acknowledge that many of us are beneficiaries of ongoing and historical colonial violence. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
