(Brazos Higher Education) is a nonprofit corporation that has been dedicated to providing assistance for higher education for over 40 years. Brazos Higher Education is an independent organization that is self-funded and self-capitalized. We are not affiliated with any colleges or universities. Brazos Higher Education is headquartered in Waco, Texas and is governed by a Board of Directors. The members of the Board of Directors serve without compensation. We passionately believe that higher education enriches lives! Student loans have proven to be a needed resource to help students and parents finance higher education and Brazos Higher Education has been an integral part of financing more than 2 million student loans. Brazos Managed Companies Brazos Managed Companies is a term used to describe the several non-affiliated nonprofit companies that are managed by Brazos Higher Education under management contracts. These nonprofit companies are dedicated to the origination, servicing, and acquisition of student loans for higher education.
