Thank you exploring Authentic You with Ed Bailey, Certified Coach & Counselor. The first thing to know is I am a passionately dedicated husband and father. I like many others had long tenured corporate career cut short after 22 years due to Covid-19. I have always had a strong sense of balance when helping others. This is the basis for why I got certified through Certified Life Coach Institute an International Coaching Federation accredited firm in coaching and counseling and started Authentic You. I worked for a major hotel chain for 22 years and my biggest asset was my communication skills. I held various leadership roles in operations, sales, and revenue. While those skills help you understand the business side of Authentic You, let me explain how they also help with life coaching and counseling. Over my lifetime I have coached and counseled hundreds (if not thousands) of employees, colleagues and business partners. I have always steered people toward understanding the entire picture and not just their perspectives. This creates a balance and clear vision so we can road map goals based on realistic obstacles.  No matter if you are a Fortune 500  CEO, parent or a student just trying to define a direction, there is a place of growth for you and I to work in. The approach we apply to everything we do is to have a sense of purpose, be caring, empathy and accountability. Over my life I have had success in marriage, parenting, business, friendships, relationship building and goal accomplishment. Together we can infuse the ability to know when to put yourself first and allow all other areas to follow.
