Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains are based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire at the purpose built Mercedes-Benz Technology Centre. There a highly talented, professional and ambitious team of people are responsible for the design, manufacture, testing and racing of: • Formula 1 power units for MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS, Aston Martin Racing, McLaren and Williams Racing. • Formula E power units for the Mercedes-Benz EQ Formula E Team and Venturi Racing. In addition, Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains also undertakes advanced, high technology projects in order to transfer F1 technologies and know-how into mainstream automotive and high performance road cars. The most significant programme at present is the design, manufacture and testing of a hypercar power unit for the Mercedes AMG Project One vehicle.
