Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains are based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire at the purpose built Mercedes-Benz Technology Centre. There a highly talented, professional and ambitious team of people are responsible for the design, manufacture, testing and racing of: • Formula 1 power units for MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS, Aston Martin Racing, McLaren and Williams Racing. • Formula E power units for the Mercedes-Benz EQ Formula E Team and Venturi Racing. In addition, Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains also undertakes advanced, high technology projects in order to transfer F1 technologies and know-how into mainstream automotive and high performance road cars. The most significant programme at present is the design, manufacture and testing of a hypercar power unit for the Mercedes AMG Project One vehicle. The company is built on three pillars of success; Quality, Technical Excellence and Speed & Flexibility. These traits have seen the Mercedes-Benz Formula 1 Turbo Hybrid Power Units power Lewis Hamilton to the F1 World Drivers Championship (2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020) and the Silver Arrows to victory in the World Constructors Championship (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021).
