The Brunswick Mess Hall

www.thebrunswickmesshall.com.au

Melbourne is abuzz with the news Brunswick’s first beer hall has opened on Sydney Road. Brunswick Mess Hall takes all the elements of an amazing venue and smashes them together, creating a concoction that’s to everyone’s taste. Be it a quiet weeknight bevvy, or a colossal celebration, it’s the perfect place to meet your mates this summer. Brunswick Mess Hall serves at least 50 different beers by the bottle, all sourced from boutique breweries such as Thunder Road Brewing Company (based in Brunswick), McLaren Vale Beer Company, Asahi Breweries and Dr. Pilkington’s Miracle Cider. Among the 150 other drinks to choose from is the age-old favourite, punch, served in traditional Victorian punch bowls with multiple glasses and popped in the middle of the table for all to share. Brunswick Mess Hall is about so much more than an endless stream of beverages, however. Head chef, Aaron Whitney draws on his passion and flair for Asian cuisine at Brunswick Mess Hall, served in a tapas-inspired, shared food style. Accompanying the impressive drinks line-up and top nosh is a cool soundtrack, and on Friday and Saturday nights, DJs fill Brunswick Mess Hall with funk, soul, R&B and ‘90s hip hop beats.
