What is Donate Life? ‘Donate Life’ is an Non Profit Organization devoted for the cause of awareness of cadaver organ donations and prevention of ever increasing diseases of organ failures across the country. The organization is committed to serve the mankind without any commercial motive and to provide hope and help to the patients suffering from diseases of ‘organ failures’. The organization has been established under the able leadership of Mr. Nilesh Mandlewala, President and Mr. Sandeep Kumar, IRS, Vice President. Mr. Mandlewala has dedicated his life for this noble cause and has been instrumental for new lives to many ‘Organ Failure Patients’. Since 2005, he has single handedly been able to persuade for procurement & transplantation of 175 kidneys, 63 livers, 3 pancreas, 152 eyes and 7 Heart which has given new life and vision to 400 patients across the country. Similarly, Mr. Sandeep Kumar, IRS, has been associated with several noble social causes despite his busy schedule as Government Servant and has been the motivator behind the formation of this Organization. Other trustees are also eminent persons from various fields having rich experience in various spheres of social services. ‘Donate Life’ has been established on 4th December, 2014 and registered as a Public Trust with the office of the Charity Commissioner, Surat. The trust is also registered U/S 12AA and has been approved for the purpose of Section 80G (5) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The human life is most important gift of god and preserving it, is the utmost duty of every human being towards the Almighty. ‘Donate Life’ is a humble effort in fulfillment of this duty.
