Urban Justice Center

www.urbanjustice.org

The Urban Justice Center provides a platform to social justice advocates, organizers, and lawyers to fuel social change. UJC's unique projects serve New York City's most vulnerable and marginalized communities through a combination direct legal services, advocacy, and community education. We often defend the rights of people who are overlooked or turned away by other organizations. We reach a wide-ranging client base, defending individual rights, building inclusive community, and fueling systemic change. Through our Social Justice Accelerator, we bring in a class of new advocate leaders every two years. For more information, visit: https://www.urbanjustice.org/get-involved/accelerator-program/ We are currently composed of the following Projects: AsylumConnect (ac.urbanjustice.org) The Brave House (bh.urbanjustice.org) College Athlete Advocacy Initiative (caai.urbanjustice.org) Domestic Violence Project (dvp.urbanjustice.org) Human Rights Project (hrp.urbanjustice.org) Mental Health Project (mhp.urbanjustice.org) Peter Cicchino Youth Project (pcyp.urbanjustice.org) Power of Purpose (pop.urbanjustice.org) Safety Net Project (snp.urbanjustice.org) Sex Workers Project (swp.urbanjustice.org) Street Vendor Project (svp.urbanjustice.org) Surveillance Technology Oversight Project (stop.urbanjustice.org)
