Invision Air is part of the Invision Group, a 17 year-old business house active in the Telecom (Kathrein India Pvt. Ltd. www.kathrein.co.in) and Marine & Aviation Safety (Meridian Inflatables Pvt Ltd www.meridian.in) industries in India. Invision Air was founded by Mr. Vinit Phatak (Chairman, Invision Group) and Mr. Jayant Nadkarni (Director, Invision Group) in 2008 and has been operating since March 2011, when it received its Air Operators’ Permit. It is the first charter service in India building its core operations with a single aircraft type in its fleet. It is also among the first in India to introduce a branded charter service with structured products. Invision Air currently has two four-passenger Phenom 100s by Embraer operational in its fleet with four more to be delivered. There are also six of the larger eight-passenger Phenom 300s to be delivered, the first of which is planned for entry into operation in late 2012. Currently operating out of three bases in India viz. Mumbai, Delhi and Nashik, Invision Air intends to have a total of six bases across the country. The remaining three bases will be from among the following cities: Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Jaipur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Chennai. Each base will have the same type of aircraft available for our customers allowing us to provide a consistent service level and availability.
