DARA (Development and Relief Agency) identifies, reaches out and supports those in our community who are disadvantaged, marginalised, oppressed or isolated by cultural, ethnic or religious differences. DARA provides practical assistance, an opportunity for socialisation and a pathway to integration via access to educational and vocational programmes. DARA's Services: Refugee Hub - Refugee Hub plays an integral role in the settlement of refugees in the Newcastle and Hunter region. DARA's Van - provides hospitality and friendship to the marginalised in our community – the homeless, socially isolated, financially stressed and all who are vulnerable. We partner with Orange Sky Laundry four nights a week in various locations through the Hunter.
