ATEC is an acronym for Associated Transportation Expediting and Consolidation Company. ATEC was formed in 1989 as an operating Division of Appellas Associates, and incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary in 1991 as ATEC Systems, Ltd. ATEC was transferred in 1996 to the current ownership, as part of a plan to legally separate functionality of the logistics and distribution companies. Subsequent to this transfer ATEC has and is operating as a Limited Partnership domiciled in Longwood, Florida.
