Cataya is dedicated to bridging the gap between the widespread use of social media to display and market products vs. the low adoption of "formal" e-commerce tools and processes by small businesses and makers. We developed a solution that allows the creation of e-commerce offers with credit card payment directly from social media when using a particular set of hashtags. We also work with existing platforms to give makers exposure to customers way beyond their reach. With the recent announcements by Facebook to add payment to its services, Cataya is pivoting on its value proposition.
