Gallery East is an online art, performance and educational network based in Boston, Massachusetts. Gallery East was founded in 1979 by DIY pioneer Duane Lucia and artist Al Ford, at 24 East St in Boston's Leather District. Gallery East quickly gained prominence as the home for Boston’s avant-garde and alternative culture. Gallery East continues as a driving force in the art community to support up and coming artists and performers.
